Franklin County Master Gardeners

Helping Franklin County

Grow

Welcome!

Franklin County Master Gardeners is a chapter of the Missouri Master Gardeners, a program sponsored by University of Missouri Extension.

The chapter holds monthly meetings for members, and sponsors many local projects where members volunteer to help bring gardening close to the community.

Membership in Missouri Master Gardeners requires training, and an internship with a local chapter. Once a member, Master Gardeners are asked to volunteer on a regular basis in their local chapter projects and attend advanced education sessions as prescribed by the Missouri Master Gardeners organization.

OUR MISSION

The purpose of the Franklin County Master Gardeners is to promote and provide education and information on Horticultural and Environmental Stewardship to its members, and the residents in the Franklin County Community.
