Franklin County Master Gardeners is a chapter of the Missouri Master Gardeners, a program sponsored by University of Missouri Extension.

Our mission is to promote and provide education and information on horticultural and environmental stewardship to our members, and the residents in the Franklin County, Missouri community.

The chapter holds monthly meetings for members, and sponsors many local projects where members volunteer to help bring gardening close to the community.

Membership in Missouri Master Gardeners requires training, and an internship with a local chapter. Once a member, Master Gardeners are asked to volunteer on a regular basis in their local chapter projects and attend advanced education sessions as prescribed by the Missouri Master Gardeners organization.
